I share this with piety, utter joy and honesty that establishment of this great institution at Singapore owes its reason to the serendipity to a large extent. With distinction and diversity as the philosophical paradigms of the DPS Society, which has matured over decades and with Indian expats´ craving to have an International school with Indian values, ethos and curriculum at Singapore, we found ourselves being driven by divinity, and this school found its birth on 19 April 2004.

Having found our existence in Singapore, it is but necessary for us to live to the expectations of the DPS Society or rather be role models to the rest of the world. For that we must have our vision, mission and thought process in place. The key stakeholders being our young angels, we believe in a simple philosophical central theme on which the following has been very wisely said -

                   'You may house their bodies but not their souls,
                   For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
                   Which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams..
                   You may strive to be like them but not seek to make them like you,
                   For life goes not backwards nor tarries with yesterday…´

It is therefore incumbent on us to ensure an environment of facilitation, which is conducive to the learning and overall personal development of our future generation. We at management level know that this is easier said than done. Provision of material necessities to meet this aspiration is perhaps only a small part in the overall scenario. Importantly, it involves the synergy of the teaching faculty, good administrative supervision, co-involvement of parents in the task of sharing, caring, learning, achieving and the social responsibility. We will continue to strive tirelessly to be at our best.
